Ryse Motion Editing Reel

Although originally hired as a Senior Animator at Crytek, I became the unofficial Lead Cinematic Animator for Ryse: Son of Rome and was largely responsible for the planning of the performance capture shoots and animation quality for the project´s story and gameplay cinematics.

I animated/motion edited over 20 minutes worth of scenes over the course of the project and in the above video you can see the breakdown of the scenes and the edits that were involved. I worked very closely with the Cinematic Director, Producer and other department heads to ensure we worked efficiently throughout the production. We captured 2 hours of action and performance in under 6 weeks at The Imaginarium Studios and including Pre-Production, our small team completed the project in about 18 months.
